The things every café owner asks first.
Do I have to switch POS?
No. Fliquids works on top of your existing Square account. We connect via Square's official OAuth flow, mirror your menu automatically, and write orders back to Square so your tax records and reporting stay in one place. Your processing rate stays the same — it's whatever you've negotiated with Square.
How do my customers find my café in the app?
Three ways. They can search by your café name in the Fliquids app, scan a QR code at your counter, or tap a direct link you share on social or email. Your café is fully discoverable inside the app once your trial flips to live.
Are there any transaction fees or commissions?
No. We charge a flat monthly subscription — $100 (founder cohort) or $200 (standard) — and that's it. No per-order fees, no take rates, no commission on loyalty redemptions. Customers pay through Square at your normal processing rate.
What can I customize on the customer-facing app?
Your logo (we recommend 512×512 PNG with transparency), your brand color (hex code; we'll warn you if contrast is poor), your café description, and your service hours. Customers see your branding throughout — the menu screen, the order screen, push notifications.
What if I have multiple locations?
Each location is a separate subscription at $100 (founder) or $200/month. Each location's data is isolated — managers see only their location, never another's. For 3+ locations, volume pricing is available; reach out at support@fliquids.com.
What happens if I cancel?
Cancel anytime from the manager dashboard. Service continues through the end of your current billing period — no early-termination fees. Your data is retained for 30 days post-cancellation in case you change your mind, and is then permanently deleted.
How fast is support?
One business day or better, every time, in the founder cohort era. Support is direct email to the founder. No ticketing system, no hold music. As we grow, the SLA stays the same.
What hardware do I need?
An iPad on iOS 16 or newer for the counter (we recommend iPad Air or Pro for stability). Reliable Wi-Fi at your café. Customers use their own phones. The manager dashboard runs in any modern browser — Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge.
